Hi! I'm Carly
I've been picking up cameras for most of my life. A recent journey down memory lane looking through old family photos showed I was often found behind the family video camera as a child - observing the world through its viewfinder. Different seasons of my life have allowed me to learn and enjoy many facets of photography, but none like motherhood to make me appreciate the power and importance of capturing and celebrating the small, fleeting moments within a family's story.
2020 welcomed our littlest baby into our family, as well as COVID lockdowns, an interstate move, our eldest hitting teen years.... and a new camera. Being at home for extended periods in this season made me reach for the camera, and I started to deeply appreciate the golden moments tucked in amongst the endurance of long days as a stay at home mum.
The photos I took over that time are so precious to me.
Now, with our eldest on the brink of leaving school for her next adventure, and our youngest starting her school journey, I’ve got the chance to celebrate and capture the same precious moments for other families!
With young kids, a teenager, and over a decade of experience as an emergency department nurse before a career pivot, I am well used to embracing chaos and finding the fun.
I’d love our time together to be remembered as easygoing, real, and full of new memories made for your family.
